What’s Your Dollar Sign? Quiz

In partnership with KeyBank

‘Tis the season for gifting and spending lots of money! One thing we don’t hear bloggers or influencers talk about much are financials. Which is crazy because they are not online a huge part of everyone’s lives, especially those who run their own businesses. For me, this last year was groundbreaking for my business. I separated out my business money from my personal money and took huge steps in my journey of owning an LLC company. But, from day one this journey always started with KeyBank.

I remember the day I went with my mom to KeyBank to open up my first checking account way back when. I got my own debit card with my own name on it and it was such an exciting experience. So when KeyBank reached out to me to share a new quiz they released that changed the way I looked at my own money, of course I had to share.

What’s your dollar sign?

As humans we all carry our own unique personality. Some of us are outgoing, some are more shy, some like to celebrate with a night out with friends, some with a cozy night in. But how would your thinking change if you realized that your personality could be connected to the financial decisions that you are making? After taking the KeyBank What’s Your Dollar Sign? quiz, I can confidently say — it does.

As you are taking the quiz, it guides you through a series of situations with a few different responses. You simply select the response that you see best fit to you and your reactions. It’s 11 questions and only took me about 5 minutes! (You don’t have to sign in or have a KeyBank account to take it.) I am going to share my results below, and if you know me in any way you will immediately connect just how on point this was for me! Ha!

The results are in!

The Artist. Not surprised! On almost any quiz I’ve ever taken I get the creative/artistic person. But I think the tips & description are on point for me. Plus, I think these results are important around the holidays and the times we are spending and buying gifts. Personally, I will 100% overspend any budget I set (sometimes no budget) if it comes to treating the people I love. While it’s good that I am loose and willing to spend and enjoy the little things, I for sure need to do more research and have a bottom line to how much I spend this season.

I feel like for me the quiz was a wakeup call. Each of the points hit me and made me realize there are a few ways that my personality is affecting my spending in negative ways. The next time you find yourself with an extra 5 minutes I highly recommend taking the What’s Your Dollar Sign? quiz through KeyBank. It is a great way to set yourself on the right path going into 2020 with your finances!
